Trinity Lutheran Church Presentation of the Film “1946 The Mistranslation That Shifted Culture”

Woodmoor Barn, 1691 Woodmoor Dr., Monument, CO 80132. 1946 is a feature documentary that follows the story of tireless researchers who trace the origins of the anti-gay movement among Christians to a grave mistranslation of the Bible. It chronicles the discovery of never-before-seen archives at Yale University which unveil astonishing new revelations, and casts significant doubt on any biblical basis for LGBTQIA+ prejudice. One half of the documentary will be shown on March 8th and the second half will be shown on March 15th. We will have time at the end of each of those times for thoughtful discussion.
